About Rumo

RUMO Child Care Services embarked on its journey in 2013 as Liberty Village Home Child Care, a small, community-focused home child care provider. Through word-of-mouth and an unwavering commitment to excellence, we quickly earned a reputation for high-quality care within the neighborhood. As demand for our services grew, so did our vision. To better serve the West Toronto community, we transitioned from a privately owned home child care provider into a fully licensed home child care agency, overseeing multiple home child care providers. This evolution allows us to create a program that not only meets the needs of families but also prioritizes the recognition and support of our dedicated child care providers, affirming their roles as respected early childhood professionals

New Stage

In January 2020, we were proudly authorized by the Ministry of Education to operate as a licensed home child care agency. In 2022, we further expanded our commitment to accessibility and affordability by enrolling in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) Program.

Ruby Liang Leads RUMO Child Care Services with a commitment to excellence, rooted in her extensive experience as a home child care provider. Having built a career from the ground up. Ruby understands the unique challenges and rewards of this field. At RUMO, we proritize the needs of both our families and providers, ensuring that children receive top-quality care while providers are supported, fairly compensated, and recognized as the professionals they are. Our mission is to create a thriving community where families can trust that their children are in capable hands, and providers are equipped with the tools, resoues, and respect they need to excel. Under Ruby’s leadership, RUMO is dedicated to fostering an environment where everyone succeeds together.
